CORONAVIRUS SPECIAL MEASURES

We have received many questions about our measures to safeguard against the spread of corona virus. We wish all our guests a happy worry free stay, so we would like to inform you of the precaution's that we are putting in place to protect you and us during a stay at Periton Park

CLEANING & SANITISING
All accommodation will be given a through clean as usual. Anti-viral disinfectant will be used to sanitise all regular contact surfaces and high touch areas such as work tops, tables, door handles, switches, remote controls etc. Crockery and cutlery will be hand washed or put through a dishwasher prior to guest's arrival. Due to the extra time required for cleaning the arrival and departure times have been altered.

ARRIVAL
The earliest arrival time has been moved to 5pm. We will leave your key in the door of the accommodation so you can enter on your own if you wish. However, we are happy to welcome you and show you around while observing the social distancing rules.

DEPARTURE
Departure time has been moved to 9.30am. Please vacate promptly leaving the accommodation clean and tidy with all waste bins empty in the appropriate recycling area.
BEDDING: please could you strip your beds and leave the sheets in piles in the bedrooms and place all your towels in the shower. This will reduce the amount of handling and enable us to conduct a thorough turn around for the next guests.

PPE
Please be reassured that we will be wearing PPE while cleaning and preparing the accommodation. Each accommodation will be supplied with liquid soap. We request that you provide your own PPE to suit your needs.

REMOVAL OF NON- ESSENTIAL ITEMS
Non-essential items which are difficult to clean will be temporarily removed, such as boardgames, surplus crockery and decorative soft furnishings such as cushions. We will also have to remove our visitor leaflets/brochures. Please do some research online for local information before you arrive. Visit Exmoor, The Exmoor National Park, The National Trust, and Minehead Bay are worth looking at to start with. Our local supermarkets normally have an extensive array of leaflets.

LAUNDRY
We are sorry that our laundry room will remain closed to guests until further notice. If you do require laundry facilities there are washing machines at the local Texaco garage and a launderette 'Bubbles' at 3 Parks Lane, Minehead.

GARDEN FURNITURE
Each accommodation unit has its own designated patio area with tables and chairs these will be sanitised as we clean the accommodation. There is communal garden furniture surrounding the pool and in the gardens, we considered removing these however felt that it would detract from your holiday experience. Please consider bringing your own hand sanitiser to use before and after handling the communal garden furniture.

SWIMMING POOL
Our outside heated pool will be cleaned and sanitised in accordance to the current guidance. To maintain social distancing, we are planning to implement a rota system so everyone can use the pool exclusively for a period each day. Current Government guidence allows for the use of private pools as long as appropriate measures are in place.

CORONAVIRUS SYMPTIONS
We trust that you will have a happy healthy stay with us. However, if in the unfortunate event that one of your party starts exhibiting corona virus symptoms during your stay, we request that you inform us and return home promptly. Periton Park Court is not a suitable venue for self-isolation! We will also need time to quarantine and then fully sanitise the accommodation.

We look forward to welcoming you to Periton Park Court, at a distance of course, and hope that you will have a wonderful holiday with us. Please feel free to contact us if you need further advice or reassurance.

Best Wishes From Stuart and Charlie Bailey
